NEW REVIEW FOR “FATAL DOSE”

5.0 out of 5 stars A First-Rate Crime Thriller June 29, 2013
I started reading “Fatal Dose” yesterday afternoon and could not put it down until I finished it. The author Kenneth Janssen has written a crime thriller that will keep you riveted, turning the pages as fast as you can read them. His story has numerous twists and turns, with very interesting and believable characters.
Without giving away the whole story, criminal elements have expanded their “business” to include prescription drugs. They buy cheap foreign imitations and mix them with shipments they steal from legitimate US manufacturers. But they prey on the elderly and sick who have a hard time paying the high price of legitimate drugs, resulting in the deaths of many unsuspecting victims. The Cleveland FBI office, and star FBI Special Agent Mark Matthews, are working to stop this. But it turns out their office has one or more unknown traitors who have been turned into “moles” for the criminals.
This adult fiction story (definitely NOT recommended for children) has action, romance, intrigue, and real entertainment. The author does not sugar-coat any of his complex characters. Some are good people doing good things, while others are very bad, and won’t think twice about betraying or even killing those they have befriended, or even bedded. And no secret is safe – they all eventually come to the light of day. At the end of the book you may find yourself thinking as I did, “When is the movie or TV series coming out?”
