Have you ever noticed how many wars we are asked to participate in? I don’t mean the ones against countries or terrorists. I mean the wars against drugs, diseases and ideologies. You can’t read a paper or magazine or watch the tube without being enlisted to fight a “War against . . .”
Some of these wars have been going on for decades with the promise of an end always lurking around the corner . . . as long as you make a generous contribution of your financial support.
I read somewhere recently that these wars can never be won . . . that as long as the hype about ending the war continues, there is no way it can end. It becomes a self-serving and self-fulfilling prophesy. Think about how self-serving many ot the organizations are . . . how well paid their corporate officers are. That aside, I do not mean to imply that there are not thousands of well meaning and well serving organizations that need our financial support, but it should only be given for the purpose of helping the downtrodden get back on their feet or receive the care and comfort they need.
The social media and commercial advertising contribute to this phenomenon in a big way. It doesn’t take too long for a condition (physical, mental or even spiritual) to be named as something that needs to be addressed as a threat.
There is a saying that makes a lot of sense “NAME IT AND YOU CLAIM IT”. Think about that before you jump on the bandwagon of another “WAR ON . . .” By doing so you will avoid the possibility of creating the condition in yourself or your loved ones. After all, if you acknowledge that it exists in others, as a part of the human race, you leave yourself open for the Collective Unconscious to visit the condition on you through your consciousness.
STOP THESE FUTILE AND DANGEROUS “WARS AGAINST” NOW.
